Privacy policy
Last updated 26 October 2026
This policy covers dcycle.design, run by Dcycle Design Studio Pvt Ltd, Ahmedabad, India ("Dcycle", "we"). It explains what we collect when you use the site, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions go to hello@dcycle.design.
What we collect
- Audit and contact form. Your name, email, company, website and message, plus the page you sent it from, the site that referred you, any campaign (UTM) tags in the link you followed, and your approximate country.
- Newsletter. Your email address and the page you signed up on.
- Emails you send us. Whatever you choose to include.
We do not ask for payment details on this site, and we do not buy or sell personal data.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare the audit you asked for, and discuss a possible project.
- To send the newsletter you signed up for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand which pages and campaigns bring enquiries, so we can improve the site.
Where it is stored
Form submissions and newsletter sign-ups are stored in Sanity, the content platform we use, and a copy of each enquiry is emailed to our team. Booking a call takes you to Calendly, which handles that booking under its own privacy policy. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and some page code from public content delivery networks, which receive your IP address as part of serving those files.
Some of these providers store data outside India. We only use providers that protect personal data to a recognised standard.
Cookies and similar storage
The site itself does not set advertising cookies. While you browse, it keeps a note in your browser's session storage of how you first arrived (referrer and campaign tags), so that an enquiry can tell us which source it came from. That note is cleared when you close the tab. If we add analytics in future, this section will say so.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as they are useful for the conversation and any project that follows, and for up to three years after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for the newsletter. Email hello@dcycle.design and we will reply within 30 days. These rights apply under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and, if you are in the UK or EU, under the GDPR.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
