The Project

WooMeNow connects married couples with curated experiences restaurants, activity centres, lifestyle venues. Influencers and venues publish their own profiles, each reviewed and approved by an admin before it goes live.

When the founder found us, none of that existed. What existed was a generic two-page site that read like every other local directory.

Four phases over roughly four years turned that into a platform: a landing page, then a full redesign and build, then accounts and a design refresh, then the platform layer itself and a Flutter app and progressive web app alongside it.

01

Objectives

The founders problem was not that the site was broken. It was that the site was too ordinary to earn the audience he was after couples looking for something considered, not a coupon list.

  • Replace a generic directory presence with a brand couples would trust
  • Let influencers and venues publish their own profiles without putting the brand at risk
  • Keep an admin in control of everything that goes live
  • Carry one system across web, a mobile app and a progressive web app
02

Challenges

The first engagement was a single landing page. We treated it like the audition it was.

  • Two pages of WordPress with nothing underneath them
  • Profiles that are user-generated but brand-critical, so quality control has to scale with submissions rather than throttle them
  • Four phases across four years, each one adding surface to a system already in use
  • The same visual and interaction vocabulary had to survive web, Flutter and PWA
03

Solutions

Each phase earned the next on delivery rather than on a pitch.

  • Phase two rebuilt from scratch rather than theming over WordPress the expensive decision that quarter, the cheap one by phase four
  • One design system extended rather than restyled, so four years of work does not look assembled over four years
  • The admin review queue designed as a real flow, so approval is a surface and not an afterthought
  • Figma to Node.js to a Flutter app and a PWA, one language across every surface

Results

Four phases delivered over roughly four years, with no rewrite between them and a verified 5.0 on Clutch across quality, schedule, cost and willingness to refer.
